Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By booking a studio or renting gear from Motionhall Atelier (“we/us”), you agree to these Terms and any booking-specific order form.
2. Bookings and deposits
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
- We may require a deposit to confirm your hold. Deposits are applied to the final invoice.
- You are responsible for arriving and vacating within the booked window, including load-in/out.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
72+ hours before start: full refund minus processing. 24–72 hours: 50% of the day rate. Under 24 hours or no-show: 100% of the day rate. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
4. Acceptable use
- No hazardous materials, open flames, or activities prohibited by law or building rules.
- Protect floors and walls; use felt pads and sound blankets as provided.
- Respect quiet hours; heavy noise or vibration requires prior approval.
5. Gear care
- Inspect kits at pickup; notify us of discrepancies before leaving.
- You are responsible for loss or damage from pickup to return.
- Use surge protection and follow manufacturer instructions.
6. Payment
Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur fees as permitted by law.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts paid for the applicable booking.
8. Insurance
You are responsible for maintaining adequate production and equipment insurance and providing certificates on request.
9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays due to causes beyond reasonable control, such as extreme weather, utility outages, or governmental actions.
10. Safety and compliance
Follow posted safety notices and staff instructions. Power tie-ins must be supervised by qualified personnel.
11. Personal data
We handle personal data per our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version effective at booking applies, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
